Humana People to People in South Africa (HPP-SA) is a non-profit organization. It is also a member of “The Federation of Associations connected to the International People to People Movement” which consists of 35 national organizations working in 43 countries reaching more than 12 million people in areas of health, education, environment and agriculture. HPP-SA established its operation in South Africa in 1995 in order to respond to the socio-economic needs of underprivileged South Africans. In its 17 years of operations, it has successfully implemented health and social development projects in South Africa, empowering people to uplift their own lives and was instrumental in assisting certain communities combat TB and HIV/AIDS. Today, it has reached more than 4 million people since it has 27 projects in the provinces of Gauteng, Eastern Cape, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu Natal. HPP SA adheres to government policies and has over the years established strong networks with all relevant government agencies.
