Touching Nations

Grantee Information: 

Touching Nations is a registered non-profit organization established in March 2005. Although it was officially registered in 2005, this organization has rendered community services since 1998. It plays an active role in preventing the escalation of those infected with HIV/AIDS and TB in the communities of Cape Metro (Delft and Belhar) ensuring they have support and treatment and are adhering to treatments.
Touching Nations has a current non-medical site in Cape Metro that has been funded by the Department of Health. The staff has been active in schools, shopping malls and other government and non-government institutions in assisting
DOH in combating HIV and AIDS. It has also strengthened its partnership with the City of Cape Town by engaging in the TB project activities for the Tygerberg sub district.
