Community Responsiveness Programs

Grantee Information: 

Community Responsiveness Programmes (CRP) is a registered NPO  based in Mopani District of Limpopo Province, South Africa. CRP has a mission to contribute towards the promotion and improvement of health and social development systems through learning, dissemination of information and provision of support services. The organisation’s main objective is to coordinate and facilitate training and provide support services to public and lay health care and social development service providers to better organise and manage their work in order to satisfy the needs of clients.

Purpose: 
To intensify activities of TB awareness, screening, home-based and facility-based sputum collection, immunization & DOTS, through door-to-door case detection and treatment measures at grass-root community level; To contribute toward improvement of TB services and interventions at the facility, local and district levels; to recruit caregivers to increase TB awareness and adherence to DOTS
