Footballers for Life (F4L)

Grantee Information: 

F4L is a revolutionary wellness programme that has trained retired footballers in facilitating training and discussion on health issues including HIV/AIDS, TB, health, life skills and living responsibly. Since 2010 F4L has been particularly involved in the Department of Correctional Services and works in over 14 facilities in Gauteng, Free State, and Mpumalanga.

Purpose: 
To conduct TB/HIV advocacy, awareness, and education campaigns with prisoners and prison officials; create TB/HIV support system in prisons; establish quality TB/HIV data recording and reporting system in prisons
