Arthur Seat Home Based Care

Grantee Information: 

Arthur Seat Home Community Based Care is a non-profit organization established in 2005. They provides service in wards 16, 17 and 22 of Arthur Seat Village in Mpumalanga province. The organization is located in Bushbuckeridge municipality, a semi-rural area in Ehlanzeni District. It conducts home visits to people to identify TB suspects and TB patients who will be referred to the health centers and clinics for further treatment. Arthur Seat also provides care for the sick in their homes and educates community about TB prevention. The organization creates income generating projects to alleviate poverty in their target communities.

Purpose: 
To provide better service that will lead to improved lives of the community and access to health and welfare care.
