The Diocesan Aids Office, King William’s Town started as a Catholic Church Aids Project which was established in 2001, to promote HIV/AIDS Prevention and to provide care and support for those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. This Catholic Church Aids Ministry has been instrumental in spearheading many programmes in the rural areas in the Eastern Cape.
