South African Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS (SABCOHA)

Grantee Information: 

SABCOHA is a member driven organization which aims to coordinate a private sector response to HIV/AIDS epidemic. In May 2001, the organization was registered as a Section 21 company. The key founding companies are Anglo American, BMW, Eskom, Metropolitan Life, Mx Health, Standard Chartered Bank and Unilever. SABCOHA strives to help companies, both large and small, in their efforts in their efforts to combat the epidemic through workplace initiatives. The organized business environment offers a unique opportunity to target the millions of employees affected by the pandemic.

To develop and implement public-private mix interventions that aim to develop skills, policies and best practices within the workplace strengthening TB and TB-HIV integration services.
