TEBA Development was established in 2001 by TEBA Ltd as a non-profit organization. The company played a significant role in the efforts of the mining industry and government to improve the living conditions and livelihood of the mining communities. They have offices in South Africa; Mozambique; Lesotho and Swaziland. TEBA Development is involved in various community programs involving Agriculture; Food Security; Community Health; Community Work Programme (employment safety net) and Rural Development Services. It received funding from several national and international sponsors especially mining companies.
